Agapanthia (Epoptes) renatae, a newly described species [❖] endemic to Peloponnese (Greece), was firstly collected in Karistena environs
(N37°29′10″ E22°00′30″, 450-550 m a.s.l.; Arkadias Nomos, Peloponnese, Greece) by Siegfried Steiner on May 4, 1998. The species belongs to
the Agapanthia (Epoptes) asphodeli (Latreille, 1804) species group [✧].
