The depicted living beetles were collected on undetermined thistle in alpine meadows near village Semyonovka (Սեմյոնովկա) in altitude 2200-2400 m (6 km SE of Dilijan; borders between Gegharkunik and Tavush provinces, Armenia) on June 3, 2012. The mounted beetle was collected near Minudast (Khorasan province, NE Iran).
