Deroplia annulicornis is a nocturnal species endemic to Canary Islands. The species is very polyphagous on herbaceous plants, decidous trees and shrubs (e.g. Kleinia neriifolia).

Body length:10 - 20 mm
Life cycle:1 - 2 years
Adults in:December - May
Host plant:polyphagous on herbaceous plants, decidous trees and shrubs
Distribution:a species endemic to Canary Islands


The depicted beetles were reared from larvae feeding in Ficus carica branch found in Guia de Isora (1065 m a.s.l.,Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain)
