Host plant:polyphagous in Fabaceae shrubs (Sarothamnus, Cytisus, Spartium etc.)
Distribution:Europe except North, North Africa, Near East, Turkey


The depicted beetles were reared from a dead twig of Sarothamnus scoparius collected in Popice (Znojmo, South Moravia, Czech Republic). Adult beetles can chiefly be found on their hosts. Interestingly in France the adults were observed visiting flowers of Euphorbia helioscopia growing in vicinity of Spartium junceum (Hervé Brustel, personal communication).
