PhDr. Martin Mádl, Ph.D.

Vědecký pracovník Oddělení umění raného novověku.

Martin Mádl studoval dějiny umění na FF UK (Ph.D. 2003). V letech 1993–2008 byl kurátorem sbírky skla a keramiky v Národním muzeu v Praze, kde se mimo jiné podílel na přípravě výstavy A Thousand Year of Czech Culture ve Winston-Salem, NC, USA. Od roku 2003 pracuje jako vědecký pracovník ÚDU AV ČR, v. v. i., se zaměřením na dokumentaci a interpretaci barokních nástěnných maleb. Je editorem a spoluautorem soupisových katalogů Tencalla I–II (Barokní nástěnná malba v českých zemích), Praha 2012–2013, a Benediktini I–II (Barokní nástěnná malba v českých zemích), Praha 2016. Podílel se na řešení grantu Idea a její realizace: výtvarná kultura jezuitského řádu v českých zemích. Je aktivním členem mezinárodní skupiny pro výzkum barokní nástěnné malby ve střední Evropě (The Research Group for Baroque Ceiling Painting in Central Europe)
