What we offer:
- Contract is till the end of 2023 (with the possibility of a follow-up tenure-track application).
- Starting date: Position is available immediately. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis with the next cut-off
point on June 20, 2022.
- This is a full-time fixed term contract appointment, part-time contract negotiable.
- No teaching duties, teaching opportunities available in case of interest.
- Monthly gross salary 40 000 – 47 000 CZK based on qualifications and experience. See Cost Of Living Comparison.
- Support for travel, bonuses depending on performance, 5 weeks of paid vacation.
- The computational psychometrics group is active and well connected both locally and internationally in statistics and psychometrics. For example,
in 2019 we hosted the International Workshop on Psychometric Computing (Psychoco).
Expected candidate profile:
- PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science or a related field with a strong interest in interdisciplinary research (we also consider applications
for part-time PhD positions, with supervision of related PhD thesis topics possible at Charles University).
- Strong statistical / data / programming skills.
- We seek curious, self-motivated, hard-working, team-spirited researchers.
- Publications on related topics as well as very good English language skills.
