Tenth Liblice Conference
on the Statistical Mechanics of Liquids
The upcoming 10th conference will follow the spirit of the previous meetings
to provide an effective forum for contacts and for the exchange of ideas, with
an emphasis on discussions rather than on formal presentations, highlighting
achievements and challenges in both theoretical and applied aspects of the discipline.
In addition to the traditional topics:
- Liquid-state theories
- Molecular simulation: methodology and force field development
the program of the 10th conference will also include recent developments in the fields of:
- Fluid interfaces and confined fluids
- Aqueous systems, including electrolytes
- Soft matter
- Nucleation; supercooled/glassy states
- Active matter
Taylor and Francis Group Ltd are supporting the Conference by sponsoring a Molecular Physics
Lecture and by publishing papers contributed by participants as a special issue of the Journal.
Papers that incorporate some review material will be also acceptable as long as novel work is
also presented.
Manuscripts should be submitted directly to the journal
(http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/tmph),
selecting the Liblice 2018 Special Issue publication option.
Professors Ivo Nezbeda and William Smith will assist the editor
Professor George Jackson in the editorial process.
Submissions will open on 1 July 2018 and close by 30 September 2018.
The special issue is expected to come out in the end of
2018 or early in 2019.
