Research fellow / postdoc in neuroimaging data analysis and computational neuroscience - Ref. č. 2024/8
There is an open position for a research fellow / postdoc in neuroimaging data analysis and computational neuroscience at the Institute of Computer Science under the supervision of Dr. Helmut Schmidt. The successful candidate will join a diverse team of researchers who work at the interface of neuroimaging and computational modelling of brain activity, and will focus on the analysis of multimodal neuroimaging data (EEG and structural and functional MRI). Interest in computational modelling and integration of
neuroimaging data with computational models is an advantage.

Conditions:
- Initial contract is for 24 months duration (with possible extension based on project progress).
- The position is available from September 1st 2024.
- Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
- This is a full-time fixed-term contract appointment. Part-time contract negotiable.
- Monthly gross salary: 45 000 to 50 000 CZK.
- Bonuses depending on performance and travel funding for conferences and research stays.
- No teaching duties.
Applicants should:
- Hold, or be in the process of obtaining a PhD.
- Have strong mathematical, statistical and data analysis skills.
- Be fluent in English.
