The Czech and Slovak Glass Conference is a traditional conference whose aim is to mediate social and professional meetings between members of the Czech and Slovak Glass Society and others interested in glass topics. As part of its professional program, it will present the main directions of glass research and development and provide a platform for communication between glassmakers from academia and industry. The conference will also include a program with the Association of Glass and Ceramic Industry, where current problems in industry and education will be discussed.
The conference will take place on November 9-11, 2022 in Prague at the Hotel DUO. As part of the professional program, the contributions of scientists Ivan Kašík (Advances in the field of optical fibers) and Jan Mrázek (Glass-ceramic luminophores for the short and mid-infrared range) will be heard.
On November 9, from 18:30 (after the end of the program), there will be a lab tour to the optical fiber technology laboratories of ÚFE in Prague 6-Lysolaje. Registration takes place via the conference website here.
