Ph.D. Student Position in Artificial Intelligence – Ref. No. 2025/17
At the Institute of Computer Science of the Czech Academy of Sciences, we are offering a
position for a Ph.D. student. The candidate will be advised by one or more members of the Department
of Artificial Intelligence
(https://www.cs.cas.cz/artificial-intelligence/en) and will work on a
research topic to be agreed upon by both sides, within a highly attractive and supportive research
environment. Examples of relevant research areas include machine learning, automated reasoning,
optimization, and formal verification.

- Either hold a master degree or be close to finishing a master degree in computer science, mathematics,
or a related area,
- have good prerequisites for independent scientific work in the field, including the necessary basic
mathematical skills, and must
- have a good command of the English language, both in its written and spoken form.
