Postdoctoral positions at the Institute of Physics of the ASCR

Starting from Fall 2008, there will be two postdoctoral positions in the string theory group at the Institute of Physics of Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic in Prague. Positions are normally offered for 2-3 years, in exceptional cases 5 year position can be granted. The positions are funded from a EURYI award grant to Martin Schnabl. The successful applicants are expected to interact and possibly collaborate with Martin on various issues in string field theory, or whatever they find relevant for the EURYI project.

Thanks to the generosity of the EURYI funding the successful applicants in addition to their salary will get travel allowance of 5000 EUR per year and will be given personal laptop for the duration of their contract.
