Molecular SpectroscopyThe team is oriented towards development of new spectroscopic techniques and specializes in development of advanced interpretation methods enabling to obtain extended information about molecular structure, dynamics and interactions. Although the primary target is basic research, we are also trying to solve concrete problems in organic chemistry and molecular biology, such as those associated with peptide folding and behavior of nucleic acids. Traditionally, our group specializes in optical activity spectroscopy (electronic and vibrational circular dichroism, Raman optical activity) and nuclear magnetic resonance. The team also provides service measurements for the Institute and other institutions. |
