Our working team studies the changes in structure and function of montane Norway spruce ecosystems as their response to multiple stresses. In addition, we are interested in biological base of Norway spruce ecosystem restoration. We determine the forest decline in larger territories. Obtained results serves to the reconstruction of historical development of montane Norway spruce ecosystems and to the more precise prediction of their subsequent development.
