His interest lies in the history and archaeology of the region and town of Český Krumlov; historical technology; methods of preparation, carrying out and evaluation of archaeological field excavations; popularization of archaeology.

Previous employment:
1993 - 1998 archeologist in the District Local History Museum in Český Krumlov,
since 1998 - archeologist with Archaia Praha,
since 2002 – scientific employee of the Archaeological Institute of the Academy of Science of the Czech Republic in Prague and editor-in-chief of the Památky archeologické journal.
