Research Interests

The objective of the activities of the the Institute is primarily the fundamental research in physical chemistry including electrochemistry, in analytical chemistry, and in chemical physics which is pursued by theoretical (computational) and experimental methods.

To a limited extent the Institute is also engaged in contracts with the industry and applied research establishments, in particular as concerns synthesis and characerization of metallocene and zeolite catalysts and surface analysis of materials.
