The project goal was to allow accurate frequency transfer also through the MPEG-2 digital TV network by maintaining the MPEG-2 sampling signal in constant phase against UTC(TP). This method also allowed to compensate for the Doppler shifts due to satellite transmissions. The target uncertainty of frequency dissemination throught the country was on the order of 10-12.
