Continuing the series of international conferences on stochastics organized in Prague since 1956 the Department of Probability and Mathematical Statistics, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University and the Department of Stochastic Informatics, Institute of Information Theory and Automation, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic organize the Prague Stochastics 2010 which will be held from August 30 to September 3, 2010.

5th International Workshop on Data - Algorithms - Decision Making 2009.

Hotel Angelo Plzeň
The program of the Workshop will present selected results of theoretical and applied research in the fields connected with the development of models of uncertain knowledge and their applications to computer aided decision making. Global aim is to contribute to development of a theoretical, algorithmic and software background for solution of real life problems in complex situations based on different sources of knowledge and data.

19th International Conference on Field-Programmable Logic and Applications - FPL 2009

fpl09 logo
After 15 years the most prominent European conference on programmable logic comes back to the Czech Republic. Organized by UTIA with the help of other major Czech universities active in this area, it will take place in Prague from August 31 to September 2, 2009.
For more details visit the main conference web site at http://fpl.org.

Workshop on Limit Theorems

The workshop will be held in UTIA from August 3 to August 6, 2009. The topics concern mainly the central limit theorem and invariance principles for sequences and arrays of dependent random variables. Many specialists of the field already confirmed their participation.

The third European Workshop on Probabilistic Graphical Models (PGM'06)

The European Workshop on Probabilistic Graphical Models (PGM) is a biennial workshop that brings together researchers interested in all aspects of graphical models for probabilistic reasoning, decision making, and learning. PGM'06 is the third edition of the workshop. For more information see the PGM'06 homepage.

4th International Workshop on Data - Algorithms - Decision Making 2008.

Zámecký hotel Maxmilián
The program of the Workshop will present selected results of theoretical and applied research in the fields connected with the development of models of uncertain knowledge and their applications to computer aided decision making. The Workshop is a part of activites of the Research Centre Data – Algorithms – Decision Making, which was established in 2005 by Institute of Information Theory and Automation in collaboration with eight other academic and industry research groups under the support of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.

10th Czech-Japan Seminar on Data Analysis and Decision Making under Uncertainty, Liblice, Czech Republic, Sept. 15th-18th 2007

The Czech-Japan seminar have become already a traditional meeting of scientists whose research interests concern methods for decision support in environment with uncertainty and their application in economics and engineering. Seminars are regularly held alternatively in Japan and the Czech Republic since 1999.

7th Workshop on Uncertainty Processing held in Mikulov, Czech Republic, 16 - 20th September, 2006

A series of Workshops on Uncertainty Processing (WUPES) was held in the Czech Republic in 1988, 1991, 1994, 1997, 2000, and 2003. Like the previous meetings the forthcoming Workshop will foster creative intellectual activities and the exchange of ideas in an informal atmosphere. Therefore we will keep the number of participants limited (about 40). Contributions belonging to the various fields of uncertainty processing are invited.
