Another happening against reform of funding of czech science
Monday 31st of August it´s going to be held first round table about future of czech science. Prime minister promissed after prostests of scientists provide for broad debate about funding of science. Invited speakers at the round table are mostly people that are responsible for criticized Reform. There are only 3 of 20 people that will represent Academy of Sciences. As a reaction Forum Věda žije! organizes another happening under motto: Do not make donkeys from scientists!

University of Hamburg will have four positions open for research associates – especially women are encouraged to apply
Department of Social Sciences of Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences will have four positions open for research associates with a starting date of 15 September 2009 for the following project: „Hamburg International Graduate School: Regional Power Shifts and Governance in the New Global Order" (HIGS-RPS).
