Laboratory of coupled problems in electrical engineering

Attention is paid mainly to the development of advanced or nonstandard numerical methods for solution of physical fields (such as fully adaptive finite element methods of higher orders of accuracy and integral or Integrodifferential methods). New algorithms are then applied to the solution of coupled problems in the domain of heavy current electrical engineering and electrical power engineering (electromagnetic processing of solid and liquid metals, technologies based on thermoelasticity produced by electromagnetic field, problems of selected types of electromechanical actuators, electromagnetic and electrodynamic levitation and so on). Investigated are also selected problems of the electromagnetic compatibility.
