16.11. 2009 The application for the project DEVISER was rewritten and resubmitted within the Call 2.2 Regional R&D centers. We are grateful to all project partners for their continuing support.
15.10. 2009 ILL Grenoble published a press release about the neutron diffraction measurements of internal stresses for development of innovative cutting tools for stone industry.

11.9. 2009 Over 300 researchers from all over the world attended the congress ESOMAT 2009 held on September 7-11 2009 in Prague. The conferenceproceedings contain 150 research papers from the field of martensitic transformations in solids and shape memory alloys.

Aim of the Project

The aim of the project DEVISER is to bring into life a Laboratory of Functional Materials (LFM) as a regional R&D centre with cutting edge experimental facilities for:

applied research in the field of functional materials and their industrial applications
plasma thin film technologies and techniques for surface modification of industrial materials
development of modern non-destructive methods of material characterization for industrial applications.
