| Abstract |
While metal-mediated C-X coupling reactions are nowadays of outmost importance in advanced organic synthesis, the reaction mechanisms are often understood quite poorly. The planned studies aim to develop electrospray mass spectrometry as a new tool for the online-monitoring of important coupling reactions with an initial focus on Cu- and Pd-catalysis. To this end, complementary organic synthesis, isotope labeling, and modern mass spectrometry will be applied. |
