Registration and Fees

All participants for the Spring Meeting should have already registered online. In Brno on Thursday May 24, from 5pm-7pm, please go to the building of the Faculty of Social Sciences to check in. We will provide you with information about the spring meeting and you will asked to pay the conference fee (and the RC28 fee, if you are not a member) at that time.  

 

 

Fees

 

All participants registering for the Spring Meeting are required to pay the appropriate fees. There are two types of fees: the conference fee and the RC28 membership fee (for non-members). All fees will be due in cash at the beginning of the Spring Meeting (on Thursday, May 24 from 5pm-7pm). Just before the Spring Meeting we will establish the official exchange rates between Euros, US dollars and Czech crowns (CZK); you will be able to pay the fees in any of those currencies.  Please note that we will be able to provide change only in Czech crowns.

 

  • The Conference fee is 150 EUR (includes conference, conference dinner and wine tasting, and lunches and refreshments during the duration of the conference). The conference fee for graduate students has been established at 100 EUR. The conference fee is not refundable. Lastly, participants who want to bring an accomanying guest to the conference dinner shall pay an additional fee of 30 EUR per guest.

 

  • Participants who are not RC28 members also have to pay the RC28 membership fee, which amounts to 80 USD for each four-year period. Members from low income, or soft currency countries, as well as students, may pay a reduced fee of 20 USD. 

 

Travel Awards 

 

RC28 offers travel awards up to 500 USD for low-income members in order to present their work. Travel awards are given only once in a four-year period to the same person. In order to be eligible to receive a travel award, you need to send your paper and one or more letters of recommendation to the organizer of the 2007 Spring Meeting (Petr Mateju) and to the Secretary/Treasurer of RC28 (Meir Yaish).

 

Deadline for travel awards for the 2007 Spring meeting of RC28 is April 1, 2007. The applicant must be registered as a participant of the conference.

Decisions about travel awards will be made before May 1, 2007. The award(s) will be announced publicly at the conference.
