In the Laboratory of Phase Transition Kinetics we research the progress of phase transitions with respect to time, especially during the formation of a phase, otherwise known as nucleation. We are interested in condensation – here we mean the creation of atmospheric aerosols and their use in power engineering – and cavitation, leading to the erosion damage of pumps.
