Laboratory of Molecular Pathogenetics
Head: Gabriela Pavlinkova, Ph.D.
Researcher: Ing. Romana Bohuslavová
Undergraduate student: Lada Kuthanová
Postdoctoral fellow: MD. Silvie Bloudičková, Ph.D.
Research topics:
The goal of our research is to understand the molecular causes of abnormal embryonic development. We use animal models and gene expression profiling to identify the molecular targets for the development of preventive and diagnostic strategies.
Our research program is focused on:
(1) Molecular mechanisms in diabetic embryopathy
(2) Transcriptional regulation in embryonic development
(3) Molecular mechanisms responsible for generating cellular diversity in neurons and sensory epithelia.
