About us

Media Communication and Marketing Department represents the leadership of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic as well as Academy´s research institutions towards media; arranges promotion, popularization and media campaigns (public workshop debates etc.); organizes scientific events in coordination with Academic institutes; several science popularization events such as Science and Technology Week; organizes also press conferences and helps with widespread popularization of science.
  
Further goal of DMCM is to support media activities of Chairman of the Academy of Sciences as well as members of Academic Council; to organize press conferences; to write press releases; to prepare actualities for the czech and english WebPages versions www.avcr.cz.
