| Topic | Organic-inorganic polymers - synthesis and characterization of hybrid polymers and nanocomposites |
| Annotation | The work will focus on the synthesis of organic-inorganic polymers, homogeneous as well as nano-structured, the latter ones with different types of inorganic nanofillers. Selected polymer products will be tested as possible precursors for preparation of semi-ceramic and ceramic materials. A part of this work will be also the preparation and chemical functionalization of inorganic nanoparticles. As nanocomposite matrices, mainly epoxies and siloxanes will be studied. The molecular structure and morphology of the products prepared will be multi-disciplinarly characterized. |
