| Annotation | The PhD. thesis will focus on the study of optical, photoelectrical and electric properties of new polymers and their blends used as active layers for polymer photovoltaic devices. The photovoltaic devices (with various architecture) will be characterized and optimized on the basis of the results obtained from the above mentioned studies and also further additional studies (morphology, etc.). The laboratory work is mostly experimental. The sophisticated laboratory equipment enables preparation of thin films and study of their properties, preparation and characterization of PV devices in an inert atmosphere. Character of the work is mainly experimental, but also theoretical knowledge can be utilized in particular for the interpretation and modeling of experimental data. |
