The map showing the position of hotels and of the institute is
at the bottom of this page. This text deals
with hotels recommended for PMM events in 2010; other hotels are
listed in separate document.
To the Institute: Take tram 15 or 22 in
the direction of Vypich and Bílá Hora or bus 108, 174
or 180 in direction of Ciolkovského, Velká Ohrada,
Sídliště Řepy to the Vypich stop (3 km, 7 min: 6
stops by tram, 4 stops by bus) and change for bus 179,
184 or 191 in the direction of Petřiny or Letiště
Ruzyně as far as Petřiny (4 stops (4-5 by 191), 5 min,
2 km).
From the airport: The hotel offers
picking up at the airport, what we recommend. If you
still prefer travelling by public transport, either take
bus 179 to Vypich stop (25 min) and change for any tram
downhill (15 in direction of Nádraží Vysočany or 22
in direction of Nádraží Hostivař) or bus 108, 174 or
180 in direction of Dejvická or Kafkova. The journey
from Vypich to Malovanka lasts (7 min), it is 6 stops by
tram or 4 stops by bus (you can leave the bus also at the
3rd stop - Pod Královkou). You can also take bus 119
from the airport to Dejvická, then cross the square and
take bus 108, 149, 174, 180, or 217 (4 stops from the
post office, 5 stops from bus terminal).
From railway and coach stations: There
is a direct tram connection from Praha-Holešovice
railway station by tram 15 in direction of Vypich (6 km,
21 min,12 stops). Otherwise we recommend using the offer
of picking up at the station.
To the Institute:Take tram 2 in
the direction of Petřiny as far as the terminus (14 min,
5 km). During July 2010, a closure is
planned that will not allow the direct connection to the
conference venue. Connection using buses X-26, 108, 149,
174, 180, 216, 217 and change for tram 1 or 18 is
supposed to be available at that time.
From the airport: Take bus 119 in the
direction of Dejvická terminus (21 min, 11 km). The end
stop is just in front of the hotel. It is in fact not
useful to use the offer of picking up at the airport.
From railway and coach stations: Using
Metro to Dejvická station.
Access with cars: Limited access and parking
possibility.
Nearest stops of public transport: Hellichova
(tram 12, 20, 22, 57: 200 m), Újezd (tram 6, 9, 12, 20, 22,57,
58: 200 m)
Connection:
To the Institute: Take tram 12, 20 or 22
as far as Malostranská (5 min), and there change for
tram 1 or 18 in the direction of Petřiny as far as its
terminus (7 km, 17 min).
From the airport: We strongly recommend
using the offer of picking up at the airport. If you
insist on travelling by public transport, take
bus 119 to Dejvická (21 min), from there take tram 20 to
Újezd (8 stops, 17 min). In summer 2010, take
bus 179 to Motol (30 min), from there take tram 9 in
direction of Spojovací as far as Újezd (18 min).
From railway and coach stations: We
strongly recommend using the offer of picking up at the
station, although the hotel has direct connection from
Praha-Smíchov and Praha-Holešovice stations by tram No
12. Nevertheless, you risc pickpocketing when travelling
to this locality by public transport with a big luggage.
To the Institute: Take tram 18 (in July
2010 also tram 1) from Malostranská in the direction of
Petřiny as far as its terminus (6 km, 18 min).
From the airport: We strongly recommend
using the offer of picking up at the airport. If you
insist on travelling by public transport, take bus 119 to
Dejvická (21 min), from there Metro A to Malostranská
(2 stops, 3 min).
From railway and coach stations: We
recommend using the offer of picking up at the station,
although Malostranské náměstí and Malostranská have
direct connection from Praha-Smíchov and Praha-Holešovice
stations by tram No 12. Nevertheless, you risc
pickpocketing when travelling to this locality by public
transport with a big luggage.
