On April 14, our Laboratory was privileged by a visit of the cultural attaché of the U.S. Embassy and a member of the Public Affairs Section of the Embassy, Mr. David Gainer. We have demonstrated our laboratory facilities and introduced our research programs on cereals, bananas and forage grasses. All three programs involve a close collaboration with US scientists. We have used the unique opportunity to discuss with Mr. Gainer possibilities for supporting exchanges of US and Czech students and young researchers.
