(born 1957 in Brno)

doc. PhDr. Radomír  Vlček, CSc.
 
Dr Zlatuška graduated with honours in Mathematical Computer Science and Theoretical Cybernetics studies at the Faculty of Science of Masaryk University in Brno in 1981. He worked at the Institute of Computer Science of this university as a programmer, research fellow, and eventually as the Research Director of the Institute.
 
In 1997 he earned his PhD. from Czechoslovak Academy of Sciences for his doctoral thesis on Functional Data Modelling. Since 1990 earned his Docent of Informatics degree, also serving one year as Vice Rector of Masaryk University. After the Faculty of Informatics was founded at Masaryk University in 1994, he became the first Dean of this Faculty, and in 1995 he became a full Professor of Informatics. In 1998 he was elected Rector of Masaryk University for two terms during 1998–2004. Dean of the Faculty of Informatics since 2004.
 
Senator of the Parliament during 2002–08. Vice chairman of Council of Higher Education Institutions since 2009.
