Database of Expert Literature on Historical Bibliography

Database covers monographic studies and magazine articles dealing with the history of books, book printing and libraries in Bohemia and Moravia up to the mid-19th century, as well as papers in historical bibliography by domestic researches without any territorial constraints on the subject. The excerptive basis is formed by bibliographies (both retrospective and parallel) from the related fields, scientific magazines (also in retrospect), relevant monographs and the bibliographies they contain, and catalogues of major libraries.
 
It is being prepared as an automated database with the possibility of multiple search entries.

As of 30 August 2008, it contained 3,030 notations. It is expected to become available on the web page of the Academy of Sciences Library. Until that time, the data from this database may be requested from employees of the Department of Historical Bibliography.
