You should be able to get access to the databases at Charles University E-resources Portal from your desktop computer in a few minutes.

1. See general information at http://www.cerge-ei.cz/library/services/pez/general.asp.
   
2. Get your login name
   a. The login name is the personal number under the photo on your student/staff CUNI card.
   b. If you cannot find your personal number on this card , the library is able to find it out for you. Please write us an email (jana.koudelkova@cerge-ei.cz), (tomas.pavela@cerge-ei.cz), (library@cerge-ei.cz).
3. Change your initial password here, after getting it from card issuing office in “Informačně-poradenské centrum UK”, Celetná st., no.13 ( the initial password is valid 10 days).
   
4. 4. Get a new password, if you do not have the initial password or you have forgotten it
   a. With your login name and your birth code you can generate a password yourself withthis form.
   b. After filling out the form, you will get an email, and you have to confirm the link inside the email!
