Digitizing Centre of the Library of the ASCR

The most important output of the Digitizing Centre of ASL is the Digital Library of the ASL. The objective of the centre is the retrospective access to the production of scientific work that has originated within the ASCR and its precursors.

The activities of the Digitizing Centre, in addition to its internal processing, are oriented towards the research and development of the entire process from digitization to full access. There is emphasis on co-operating with other institutes that work in similar projects. The main partner for the defining and maintaining of processing standards is the National Library of the Czech Republic.

The Digitizing Centre is also involved in providing services related to digitization and other processing of digitized documents.
