1)Development and applications of nuclear analytical methods based on ion and neutron beams (Rutherford Backscattering/Channeling, Neutron Depth Profiling, etc.) in interdisciplinary research: material science, polymer science, life science.

  1. Study of hybrid systems (metal-fullerene composites) – their synthesis, characterization.
  2. Study of advanced structural and functional materials phenomena.

Teaching Activities:

Lecturer at the Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague (Neutron Physics); at present supervisor-specialist of 1 PhD thesis on development of gas/bio-sensors.

Other activity:

Member of a board of the Grant Agency of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic;

Co-editor of the international journal Radiation Effects and Defects in Solids.
