Bibliography

The bibliography workplace is part of the library. Its task is to process Czech art history bibliographies. The card bibliography (up to 1987) includes card indexes for authors of texts, artists, places, and subjects (approximately 500,000 cards). The printed bibliography (1971–1987) made the results of Czech art history research accessible to a broader public (17 annual volumes). Thanks to a grant from the Programme for the Support of Targeted Research and Development, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, a Bibliography of the periodical Umění / Art (1953–2002) has been compiled, and work has started on the Czech art history bibliography database.
