Events

CERGE-EI regularly hosts special lectures, conferences, and other events. We also frequently host visits by international delegations, which serve to widen our institutional contacts beyond Europe, thus allowing researchers to share findings and regional perspectives of use to other transitional countries.

In addition, visits from U.S. and European agencies and organizations serve a variety of purposes. Such visits give donors to CERGE-EI an opportunity to evaluate the effectiveness of their gifts, while visits by leading businesspersons and economists also help us to raise CERGE-EI's profile internationally.

Recent events at CERGE-EI have included our hosting the U.S. Ambassador to the Czech Republic, the Chairman and CEO Coca-Cola, the Chairman and CEO of Philip Morris, and the Chairman and CEO of EDventures.
