To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the publication of Individuals, the Department for the Analytic Philosophy of the Philosophy Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences organizes a philosophical colloquium, devoted to the discussion about the most inspiring aspects of Peter F. Strawson’s philosophical legacy - including his project of descriptive metaphysics, his views on truth, predication, meaning, communication etc. The conference attendance is by invitation only. The conference schedule can be found here. The conference takes place at the Villa Lanna conference site where the attendees are also accommodated. Papers might appear in a special issue of the journal Organon F.
