Antiferromagnetické polovodiče I-Mn-V: nová rodina materiálů pro spintroniku

Manipulace se spinem elektronů a s magnetickými momenty atomů otevírá nové možnosti pro ukládání a zpracování informace na mikroskopické úrovni. Na rozdíl od magnetických kovů, které jsou základem již používaných spintronických zařízení, magnetické polovodiče umožňují ovládat vlastnosti materiálu magnetickým i elektrickým polem. Dosavadní výzkum se soustřeďoval na tetraedrické polovodiče (směsné krystaly typu (II,Mn)-VI a (III,Mn)-V), ve kterých je část kationtů nahrazena atomy Mn (případně jiných přechodových kovů).

Frontiers of Quantum and Mesoscopic Thermodynamics
