Kateřina Dušková Memorial Fellowship

Studia Rudolphina: the Centre for Research into the Art and Culture of the Time of Rudolf II offers a study visit in memory of Kateřina Dušková, a young colleague who died tragically at the very beginning of her academic career. This study visit at the Institute of Art History, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, is financed on the basis of donations by sponsors, and is intended for students or young researchers from both the Czech Republic and other countries whose field of interest is related to art-historical issues from the time of Rudolf II. The study visit normally lasts 3-4 weeks and the successful applicant is provided with accommodation and financial support in line with the current Czech regulations for such visits. The scholarship was first offered in 2005, and the results of previous study visits have been presented as part of the Collegium Historiae Artium cycle of lectures and subsequently published in Studia Rudolphina.

 

The closing date for applications for this year's scholarship is 30 June 2011. Applicants should send their CV, bibliography, and a two-page description of their project to the address: Institute of Art History of the Academy of Sciences, Husova 4, CZ - 110 00 Prague.
