Topic Enzymatic construction of functionalized RNAs and study of their use in siRNA
Faculty FPBT VŠCHT
Abstract

Polymerase synthesis of base-modified oligoribonucleotides and RNA from base-functionalized nucleoside triphosphates (NTPs) will be studied. The base-modifications will include functional groups of different size and reactivity. Stability of these modified RNAs towards ribonucleases and their potential use in RNA interference will be studied. The project will be performed in collaboration of the laboratories of both supervisors at FPBT VŠCHT and IOCB ASCR.
