Transportation to Hradec Králové

The Conference Secretariat will arrange transfer from Prague Ruzyne airport to Hradec Králové and/or back upon request. In case of your interest please indicate it at the on-line registration form - section III. Transportation or contact the conference secretariat.

The price will be announced at the end of April according to number of participants who require transportation. The price will be around 40 EUR/person/1 journey. If you do not want to take use of our transfer service, you can go to Hradec Králové by bus or by train on your own.

 


Bus

From Prague Ruzyne airport: Take bus No. 119 to Dejvická station. There you can change to metro or tram No. 8. With metro (A - green line) go to Muzeum station and change to red one (line C) and go two stops to Florenc station. You need to buy a ticket for 26 CZK. You can do so at the airport in tobacco shop or at ticket machines at the bus stop. The journey takes approximately 50 minutes. If you take the tram you do not need to change the line.

Alternatively you can take bus "Airport Express" which goes to the city centre. You get off on stop Hlavní nádraží (Prague Main Railway Station). Here change to metro and go one stop to Florenc. Ticket for this bus costs 50 CZK and then you need another ticket for metro for 18 CZK. The journey takes approximately 50 minutes as well.

Buses from Central Bus Station Prague - Florenc leave for Hradec Králové every hour. The journey takes 1 hour 45 minutes and the price of the ticket is around 90 CZK (= approximately 3.6 EUR). You get off on station Hradec Králové Terminal HD. From here you can take bus No. 2, 5, 6, 11 or 15 to Adalbertinum stop. Then it is about 10 minutes walk to Nové Adalbertinum - conference venue. You will need to buy the ticket for public transport for 14 CZK.

 


Train

From Prague Ruzyne airport: Take bus No. 119 to Dejvická station. From here take the metro green line A to Muzeum station and change to red line C and go one stop to Hlavni nádraží station. You need to buy ticket for 26 CZK. You can do so at the airport in tobacco shop or at ticket machines at the bus stop. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Also you can take bus "Airport Express" which goes to Hlavni nádraží (Main railway station) directly. You get off on stop Hlavni nádraží (Main railway station). Ticket for this bus costs 50 CZK. The journey takes approximately 35 minutes.

Trains from Prague Main Railway Station leave for Hradec Králové every 2 hours. The journey takes 1 hour 42 minutes and the price of the ticket is around 150 CZK (= approximately 6 EUR). You get off on station Hradec Králové. Railway station is next to the bus station. From here you can take bus No. 2, 5, 6, 11 or 15 to Adalbertinum stop. Then it takes about 10 minutes by walk to Nové Adalbertinum - conference venue. You need to buy ticket for public transport for 14 CZK.

 


Car

Hradec Králové lies 111 km from Prague connected by highway D11 and E67. The journey from Prague to Hradec Kralove takes approximately 1 hour 20 minutes. GPS coordinates of conference venue Nové Adalbertinum are: N50°12'32.5" E15°50'0.403".
