Prof. Helena Illnerová, DSc, has been awarded by The Honourable Mention of Mensa

Prof. Helena Illnerová, DSc, senior scientist of the Department Neurohumoral Regulations of the Institute of Physiology, has been awarded by The Honourable Mention of Mensa of the Czech Republic for her outstanding contribution to intellectuals and propagation of intellectual culture home and abroad.

Prof. Illnerová is former President of The Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic; her main research interest is the time-keeping system of mammals, its synchronisation with the 24-hour-day and seasons of the year and development of the biological clock.
