Academic Skills Center
The Academic Skills Center provides support and assistance on academic writing and other academic skills for the duration of a student’s time at CERGE EI. During the first stage of studies (including the formal dissertation proposal stage), the students receive assistance in the form of mandatory courses while later during their stay at CERGE EI, students can receive academic language assistance with tasks such as the Dissertation Workshop and the writing of the dissertation. Members of the Academic Skills Center are always available for individual consultations on student work. All members of the department are trained and qualified in the teaching of academic research skills with many years of relevant experience. Personal profiles available here.
