The Department of the Popularisation of Science and Marketing participates in activities in these areas:
The main aim of the Department of the Popularisation of Science and Marketing is to outline through individual promotional events, popularisation activities, exhibitions and projects the activity of the Academy of Sciences of the CR and hence popularise science and research towards the wider public. It further ensures marketing activities for the Centre for Administration and Operations and for the Head Office of the ASCR, contributes to the wider awareness of the institutes of the full spectrum of all of the products and services of the CAO.
Popularisation of Science
- Creates and implements the conception of the popularisation of science and research in cooperation with the expert sections and divisions of the CAO, Academy of Sciences of the CR and institutes of the ASCR in a long-term context.
- Ensures the largest scientific festival, Science and Technology Week of the ASCR.
- Prepares and implements exhibitions both in the areas of the building of the Academy of Sciences of the CR in Národní and also in other places around the entire CR.
- Cooperates in the events of the individual institutes of the ASCR (lectures, discussions, scientific cafés, competitions, etc.).
- Administers the webpages on the popularisation of science.
- Cooperates in the promotion of science with foreign institutes and organisations.
- Closely cooperates with the Department of Media Communication of the Head Office of the Academy of Sciences of the CR.
Sponsorship and Partnership
- Actively seeks opportunities to develop cooperation with potential partners and thus creates a scope for the implementation of joint projects with the CAO and institutes of the ASCR.
- Prepares and develops the conception of sponsorship.
- Organises events and meetings of the partners and sponsors.
Marketing and Support
- Cooperates in the marketing support of the divisions and departments of the CAO, updates the offer of services for the partners and institutes.
- Ensures the preparation and implementation of individual promotional events, participates in ensuring promotional and marketing activities for the CAO and ASCR.
- Cooperates in the preparation and creation of marketing, presentational and promotional materials for the CAO and ASCR.
Participates in the administration and creation of the elements of corporate identity, particularly then the corporate design of the CAO.
