  • lasers: Ytterbium fiber laser (IPG, 5W at 1060 nm), Nd:YAG (Baasel, 1064 nm), semiconductor tunable laser 1440-1610 nm (E-TEK), femtosecond fibre laser (IPE, 200 fs, 1560 nm, 40 MHz)

  • amplifiers: high power erbium doped fibre amplifiers (Keopsys, INO), semiconductor optical amplifiers (InPhenix, CIP), wide band Raman fibre amplifier (IPE)

  • measurement devices: 20GSa/s samplescope (Agilent), 1GSa/s samplescope (Hewlett Packard), Optical multimeter AQ2140 (ANDO), Optical spectrum analyser AQ-6315B (ANDO), Autocorrelator FR-103XL/IR (Femtochrome), 4GHz rf signal generator (Agilent)
  • fiber optic components, e.g.: optical delay lines, Faraday mirrors, tunable bandpass filters, optical modulators, fused fiber couplers and WDMs, optical filters, isolators, attenuators, circulators, polarization beam splitters, polarization controllers, wide-band LEDs, specialty fibers
