The project is aimed at the development of methods of theoretical analysis and numerical modelling of linear, nonlinear and nonreciprocal optical effects in dielectric as well as plasmonic guided-wave structures and photonic crystals. We also plan to develop theoretical models and employ numerical simulations to describe dynamics of nonlinear photonic and atomic systems. The main purpose of this effort is to contribute to general physical understanding of new relevant phenomena in such systems from the point of view of their potential technical applications.
