Structural Biology (Dr. Pavlína Řezáčová)

Structural Biology Research-Service Team was established at IOCB at the beginning of year 2007; nevertheless it existed before as a part of the Department of the Recombinant Expression and Structural Biology at the Institute of Molecular Genetics. Thus, although this team has a short history at IOCB, it has an extensive long-term expertise in the field and is fully equipped to perform all tasks of structural analysis of biological macromolecules by X-ray crystallography. This includes recombinant protein preparation and protein crystallization facilities, home X-ray diffraction station as well as computational hardware and software for structure determination and analysis.
