Proteases and their regulation in pathological processes, cathepsin proteases in cancer, digestive proteolysis in blood-feeding parasites, allergenic proteases, plant protease inhibitors as insecticides.


Proteomics, protein 3D structures and structure-activity relationship, rational and combinatorial design of small bioactive molecules as chemotherapeutic agents.
