since 2003 Ph.D. study under supervision of Prof. Tomáš Trnka and Miroslav Ledvina, Ph.D., Department of Organic Chemistry, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Charles University in Prague and Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry, Prague, Czech Republic. Thesis: „A Synthesis of homo- and heterooligosaccharides derived from 2-amino-2-deoxy saccharides“.
1998-2003 Mgr. (equivalent of M.Sc.) in organic chemistry, Institute of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, Slovakia. Diploma thesis: „A Stereoselective synthesis of (2S,3R)-capreomycidine“, adviser: Prof. Miroslava Martinková, Ph.D.
