Má práce se zaměřuje na metodologii odlovu 0+ ryb, především na vhodnost jednotlivých strategií a metod odlovu v různých podmínkách a na vliv chování 0+ ryb na efektivitu metod odlovu. V současnosti se mé výzkumné aktivity soustředí také na obecnou ekologii ryb, se zaměřením na ekologii ryb v záplavových oblastech a ekologii invazních druhů.
